We make the castings at our home. (Making molds requires a lot of equipment so it is easiest to do it here.) We ask that you make an appointment. We are very flexible on appointment times and try to meet your schedule.
After you and your loved one arrive at our home, we prepare a molding gel mix. The hand or foot is dipped into the gel. It takes from a few seconds to a minute or two for the gel to set. Then the hand or foot is gently removed from the gel. The mold is now complete. We pour a gypsum stone inside the mold. When it is ready, we break the mold away and we do the required finishing work. We call you to schedule a pick up time about three weeks after your first appointment.
